♫ I'm a free bitch baby...

I know I'm the worst for blogging but I saw this on an acquaintance's blog and just had to re-post it.

If you are unfamiliar the woman pictured is Stefanie Germanotta. But you probably know her best as Lady Gaga.

Now, I know she seems a bit on the ...quirky side to say the least but that is what you get for judging a book by its cover.

Underneath the extravagant outfits and rambunctious hair is a woman who has not let her fame get to her head. I've listened to so many interviews and watched so many performances it is probably unbelievable. But what I've learned from her is what matters. She is all about being herself, no matter what others think of her. She stands up for what she believes is important or correct. When you watch her perform you see a genuine smile, she truly enjoys what she is doing. Her fans are her life, she lives to connect with them, to inspire them, and to give them music that doesn't suck. She puts all of her money back into her shows - to continue to please her fans.

Day 1

So in another attempt that is almost sure to fail I've begun another Project 365, this time with my boyfriend (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jwaegelin).

I've been eying the giraffe for a while, but it has always been in a really dark room and almost impossible to photograph since a flash would make it mirror like. My step-dad recently moved this giraffe along with its sibling to the ledge that is probably 12 foot above the ground, right near a giant window in the entry to the house. So I took the opportunity to get the shot today, since I'm a bit limited in my mobility.

Hooray Knee Injury?

its a photo life..

Woah - update? Exciting.

A while ago, my friend Andrew and I decided to try a Project 365. It has been a complete disaster but I'll still keep adding to it when I have time to take pictures. You can see them here, Like always, your criticism is welcome as long as it is constructive! I've got a couple of favorites, here is one of them:

Also, earlier this month was the FIRST Florida Regional and I was one of two event photographers. You can see the 1,038 pictures here

I feel that I've gotten a lot better at photography, mostly because I'm currently enrolled in Photography 1 at Valencia. It is a film course but I've defiantly learned a lot.

I'm looking forward to attending the FIRST Robotics Championship next month and I'll be fully equipped camera wise. So stay on the look out!

If anyone has any suggestions for a photoshoot go ahead and leave it in the comment.

This semester is going okay school wise, I could be doing better but I feel stretched too thin. I'll just leave it at that.
