It has been a crazy four days, I promise you that.
It is now sunday - I haven't posted a decent blog since Thursday.
I had my interview at aerie on Friday, it was a group interview and lasted all of about 10 minutes. It was totally uneventfull. They did however take all of our previous employeers information and were diligent about making sure the information was correct. I'm assuming it was because they wanted to speak to the employers. Well, I thought of this and I was talking to Pat, where I said, "watch they'll call while I'm working the desk at the resort." Long behold they did, but Sarah wasn't there so it wasn't as eventful as it could of been. Friday night at work was pretty interesting.
We had this couple from England check in and upon arrival, they were arguing with thier taxi driver since they didn't feel that it was appropriate to be charged 90 dollars to be driven from the airport. It is a far journey but they claimed the taxi driver got lost several times. After we sorted that out and got them checked in, they came back down to the office complaining that there was no complemetry food tray in thier room. They expected the room to come with tea and biscuits with all the fixings and I was like uhh I've never heard of this in my entire life.
Saturday was really boring, but I was still tired since I've been having trouble sleeping recently, I don't really know why either I just have been. It totally sucks, I promise. aerie did call me on saturday and asked if I could come in for orientation today, and that was about it. Saturday night was uneventful.
So now we're at today - Sunday. I got up at 6 to get to the mall for 8am. I did my new employee paperwork and all that fun stuff and we started training. We learned how to fold the different types of folds and how to hang undies and bras. The bra's and I don't get along.I can not hang them to save my life. We were given the instructions on how to give the information on the credit cards yada yada. So after work, I took my first oppertunity of being an American Eagle Outfitters employee lol. It was AMAZING. Then I drove home [ stopped for taco bell ] sat down for a bit, changed into my new outfit [wow, I just realized I dirted two sets of clothes in one day, oh well] and then headed out to Alhambra. I'm here till 10pm tonight. It is pushing on two hours since I got here, I'm gonna do some homework and hopefully something interesting will happen.
